The national squad of Curaçao has taken the lead against Alanyaspor twice. The friendly match played in Turkey ultimately ended in a 2-2 draw.
The Curaçao team led by head coach Dick Advocaat made it 1-0 thanks to a goal in the 30th minute by Jearl Margaritha. Anderson Silva scored the equalizer for the opponent ten minutes later.
In the 53rd minute, Leandro Bacuna took the lead: 2-1. Curaçao defended this minimal lead well until the 75th minute, until Pione Sista leveled the score 2-2 in the 76th minute.
With this friendly match, the Curaçao squad concluded the training camp in Turkey. In the first friendly match, the team won 1-0 against the English club Hull City.

The training camp in Turkey serves as preparation for the Caribbean World Cup qualification. This takes place in the month of June. Curaçao will play Barbados on June 5 and Aruba will be the opponent on June 8.
